It's tough for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

We're talking about the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

That it took as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the pitchers that have represented Australia over five decades.

"The possibility to go out there and lock in a contest with her and simply enjoy myself that way, sort of got me going," commented Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

When she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if we do, we are confident we can succeed."

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup want to hear.

During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this victory succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.
